Gallbladder and Bile Duct Cancer Awareness Month

About us

Our Mission

At the Anchorage and Valley Radiation Therapy Centers we understand that being diagnosed with cancer is a stressful experience. Patients often feel vulnerable and uncertain. Our mission has always been to listen to our patients’ concerns, answer their questions, educate them about all possible treatment options, and empower them with the resources they need to be in control of their care. This is the kind of compassionate care you can always expect from everyone at our centers.

History

We first opened our doors in 1993 on campus at Alaska Regional Hospital, providing state-of-the-art treatment and care to patients in the community. To better serve the growing Mat-Su community we opened a second facility on campus at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in 2006.

Over the years the technologies and services we provide to our patients have developed, but one thing has never changed: our belief that the best cancer therapy treatment combines highly trained physicians and staff with advanced technologies in an environment of hope and compassion.
